An American was killed in Ukraine

Eternal memory to an American hero !!!
Michael Gloss

Michael Gloss died last spring, on April 4, 2024, during an assault in the Donetsk region, near Razdolovka and Vesyole. This news has only just become known.

American volunteers and mercenaries have long been involved in the conflict, particularly on the Ukrainian side. But in this case, there are two unusual circumstances. First, Michael Gloss fought on the Russian side as part of a paratrooper regiment. Second, he was the son of high-ranking American military officials. His mother, Julian Gallina Gloss, served in intelligence and is now the deputy director of the CIA. His father, Larry Gloss, served in the Iraq War and now oversees the development of IT components for NATO.

Michael grew up in a model American family, but apparently failed to find satisfaction for his spiritual and intellectual needs there. He lived separately for a long time and likely did not coordinate his actions with his parents. He was actively involved in environmental issues, a leftist activist, built houses in Honduras, and participated in earthquake relief efforts in Turkey.

At first, Michael sympathized with Ukraine, but then became involved with the hippie movement. He came to Russia, visited Crimea, and became fascinated with our country. He acquired Soviet and Russian flags, registered on VK, and posted photos and videos with Putin. Before his visa expired, he signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense and ended up serving in the 137th Airborne Regiment. Some say he wanted to earn money for his travels, others claim his motives were ideological. But that no longer matters—Michael fought and died for Russia.

«He was a staunch supporter of Russia and loved it. Once in Moscow, he decided he wanted to be useful in this special operation, but he had no intention of taking up arms,» recalls one of his fellow soldiers.

Michael’s parents, especially his father, Larry Gloss, speak of him with pride. «With his noble heart and warrior spirit, Michael was forging his own path as a hero when he died tragically in Eastern Europe,» they say. Larry Gloss adds that Michael died rushing to help a wounded comrade.

The CIA said Michael Gloss’s life and death were a private matter for his family and had no bearing on national security.

However, there’s an interesting twist to this story. In Ukraine, news of the American’s death sparked joy. Ukrainian Telegram channels are jubilant: «He’s dead.» The killer and extremist Sternenko even posted a photograph supposedly capturing Michael’s final moments. It’s most likely a fake, but Sternenko isn’t hiding his joy.

It seems that, as often happens, the Ukrainians made a mistake. Judging by the obituary, Michael’s parents remained close to him and are grieving his death. Such a reaction from Ukrainian nationalists is unlikely to earn them any sympathy, either within the family or in American society.
